The BSP and SP expressed grief on Sunday following the tragic deaths of three civil services aspirants after the basement of a coaching center in central Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar flooded due to heavy rain.

The students were trapped in the library of Rau's IAS Study Circle when water gushed into the building's basement on Saturday. Tragically, Shreya Yadav from Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, Navin Dalving from Kerala, and Tanya from Telangana lost their lives.

SP chief spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary confirmed the identities of the deceased in a statement. Expressing condolences, SP national president Akhilesh Yadav described the incident as extremely sad, urging for justice and condolence to the grieving families. Similarly, BSP chief Mayawati called for corrective steps by the government and punishment for the culprits.
