Heavy Rain Forecast for Rajasthan's Kota and Udaipur Divisions

Heavy rain is forecast for parts of Rajasthan, particularly in Kota and Udaipur, due to a low-pressure system formed over the Bay of Bengal. This weather pattern is expected to bring increased rain to the region, extending to Jodhpur and Bikaner, with potential very heavy showers on specific dates.

Heavy rain is expected in some areas of Kota and Udaipur divisions in Rajasthan over the coming days, influenced by a low-pressure system that formed over the Bay of Bengal and the south Odisha coast, the meteorological center announced.

Rainfall activity is also predicted to persist in parts of the Jodhpur division in the forthcoming days.

The meteorological center highlighted that another low-pressure area is anticipated to develop around July 19, which will keep the monsoon active over eastern Rajasthan for the next four to five days, resulting in heavy rains in certain locations within the Kota and Udaipur divisions.

The rain activity is projected to intensify around July 17 and 18, with very heavy rain likely in districts of Kota, Udaipur, and Ajmer.

Additionally, parts of the Jodhpur division in western Rajasthan can expect continued rain, with a potential increase in rainfall activity from July 17 to 19 and heavy rain forecasted on July 18 in certain areas.
