Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar confidently predicted that the Mahayuti coalition would secure 175 seats in the forthcoming assembly elections scheduled for November 20.
Pawar, running in Baramati, is poised against his nephew, Yugendra Pawar, from the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP). Pawar expressed confidence in claiming victory with a margin exceeding 1 lakh votes.
The Mahayuti alliance, which includes the BJP, Ajit Pawar's NCP, and Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, is focusing on maximizing coordination, as discussed in a crucial meeting with Union Minister Amit Shah. Results will be announced on November 23.
