Nationalist Congress Party leader Supriya Sule has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing it of political malpractice and negligence toward pressing issues in Maharashtra. Sule, speaking to ANI, remarked that the BJP has remained silent on Congress's accusations while allegedly plundering state resources.
Sule specifically highlighted the plight of farmers and women, claiming that BJP's politics have led to daily threats against women. With allegations of MPs in Kolhapur intimidating women, she announced plans to challenge these actions in court. Sule emphasized that the Election Commission has already been approached by Congress to counter the BJP's "goon-like behavior."
The NCP leader further alleged that the BJP has been appropriating development schemes without any substantial agenda for Maharashtra's progress. Accusing the party of evading responsibility for corruption, inflation, and unemployment, Sule affirmed the MVA's resolve to institute an honest government in the state. She criticized the BJP-led regime for allegedly using investigation agencies to target opposition leaders.
