In a heated exchange ahead of upcoming by-elections in West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has leveled serious accusations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for engaging in what it describes as divisive rhetoric.
According to TMC leader and state Minister Shashi Panja, these polarizing speeches, including remarks from BJP's Suvendu Adhikari in Bankura, are designed to sow discord along religious and caste lines.
Panja emphasized that such dialogues violate the Electoral Code of Conduct, asserting that the Election Commission must crack down on inflammatory discourse. Confident of winning all six seats, Panja noted the internal conflicts plaguing the BJP.
