Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), accusing them of engaging in appeasement politics ahead of the Maharashtra elections. Shah's remarks come in response to the MVA's proposed Muslim reservations, which he claims compromise the quota benefits of marginalized communities.
Addressing rallies in Jalgaon and Buldhana, Shah asserted that the BJP stands firmly against religion-based reservations. He accused the MVA of prioritizing vote bank politics over national security and community welfare. Furthermore, Shah criticized the coalition's tenure for allegedly hindering industrial growth and opposing key infrastructure projects.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Shah highlighted the BJP's efforts to amend policies favoring national development. He contrasted Modi's decisive actions with previous Congress-led governments, urging voters to support the BJP in the upcoming Maharashtra polls scheduled for November 20, with votes counted on November 23.
