Donald Trump has won the presidential election in Arizona, completing a clean sweep of all seven key battleground states. His victory secures a decisive Electoral College win over Vice President Kamala Harris, with a final total of 312 votes against Harris' 226.
Donald Trump has clinched victory in the presidential election for Arizona, according to projections by Edison Research. This win marks the completion of a sweep across all seven battleground states, securing Trump's presidential position with a decisive Electoral College advantage over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.
The triumph grants Trump a total of 312 Electoral College votes, surpassing the necessary 270 to occupy the White House. In addition to Arizona, Trump successfully captured key states including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Nevada.
This result represents a significant reversal of the 2020 outcome, where Joe Biden had outmatched Trump by winning six of these swing states. Looking ahead, Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance are set to assume office on January 20, following the anticipated certification by Congress on January 6.
