In a significant political shift, two factions of the Jammu and Kashmir-based Hurriyat Conference have renounced separatism, endorsing the vision of a new India as championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
This development follows the decision made two days prior by the Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement (JKPM) and the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (JKDPM) to sever ties with separatism.
Shah emphasized that under Modi's administration, separatist ideologies are diminishing rapidly, as unity and national cohesion resonate across the Kashmir Valley.
