Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy, responding to Congress leader DK Suresh's recent remarks on former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, stated he will withhold commentary until after the by-polls. Speaking during the Prime Minister's 'Rozgar Mela' in Bengaluru, he took issue with the Congress's derogatory campaign rhetoric regarding his family.
The Congress leader had reportedly questioned Deve Gowda's campaign participation due to his health, suggesting he might campaign via ambulance. Kumaraswamy, noting these statements, asserted he would address them post-election results. Former PM Gowda aims to support his grandson, Nikhil Kumaraswamy, contesting the by-polls.
Kumaraswamy claimed he endures numerous personal attacks, deciding not to engage until the November 13 election and November 23 results. He also critiqued Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on vague commitments regarding the caste census and internal reservation issues, questioning the lack of action on crucial reports and decisions.
