JMM Promises 33% Job Reservation for Women in Jharkhand

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) announced its manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections on Monday, featuring a significant promise of 33 per cent reservation for women in state government employment.
Unveiled by party leader Shibu Soren, the manifesto addresses key areas such as agriculture, education, and the rights of local residents. It outlines a comprehensive plan aimed at advancing these sectors.
Apart from job reservation, the party has pledged to support MSME entrepreneurs by providing loans up to Rs 5 crore under the Credit Guarantee Scheme. Additionally, the manifesto includes plans for the loan waivers for small and medium-sized traders, alongside establishing sports excellence centers and a sports university across the state.
