In the run-up to the upcoming assembly elections, Deepak Kesarkar, Maharashtra's School Education and Marathi Language Minister, has officially submitted his nomination from the Sawantwadi assembly constituency. Kesarkar, affiliated with Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena faction, seeks re-election in a seat he has held since 2009.
Highlighting the advancement in Maharashtra's infrastructure and industry under the coalition government, Kesarkar credited the Mahayuti alliance for such progress. He pointed out the success of implementing key social schemes, stating, 'Farmers get insurance for merely one rupee, and women receive significant financial support.'
Kesarkar, joined by BJP leader Narayan Rane during a roadshow, underscored his dedication to his constituents, emphasizing development projects and resolved long-standing issues. Confident of his re-election, Kesarkar pledged a continued focus on employment and innovation to further uplift the Sawantwadi region.
