An Israeli airstrike targeting a compound hosting journalists in southeast Lebanon resulted in the deaths of three media personnel, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency reported on Friday.
Footage broadcast by local channel Al Jadeed depicted the devastation, with chalets left in ruins and PRESS-labeled vehicles coated in debris. The Israeli military reportedly did not provide a warning before executing the strike.
The Beirut-based channel Al-Mayadeen TV confirmed that two of its staffers, Ghassan Najar and Mohammed Rida, were victims, and Al-Manar TV identified a third casualty, Wissam Qassim, in the Hasbaya region.
