Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde declared that the seat-sharing arrangement for the ruling Mahayuti coalition would be disclosed shortly, as discussions had nearly concluded. The announcement pertains to the state elections scheduled for November 20.
Shinde, alongside deputy chief ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, engaged in late-night talks with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to resolve disputes among the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP regarding election seat distribution.
While Shinde stayed in the capital for further discussions, Fadnavis and Pawar returned to Maharashtra. The pact aims to ensure the coalition's cohesion in the upcoming elections.
