The INDIA bloc, spearheaded by National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah, is poised to make a significant political move on Saturday by requesting a meeting with the Raj Bhavan to stake their claim for forming the government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Abdullah expressed optimism that the alliance comprising NC, Congress, and CPI(M) will be granted the opportunity to establish a swearing-in ceremony for the new government and intends to inform allies to witness the occasion.
Addressing concerns from Jammu's populace, Abdullah highlighted the need to overcome the disinformation campaign that has sown fear and misunderstanding. He emphasized the alliance's goal to restore statehood and ensure governance, reflecting Jammu and Kashmir's symbolic status as the 'crown of India.'
