In a significant outcome from the Haryana assembly elections, BJP's Krishan Lal Middha and Congress' Mamman Khan secured wins in their constituencies. Middha triumphed over Congress' Mahavir Gupta by a substantial margin of 15,860 votes in Jind, while Khan saw an overwhelming victory over BJP's Naseem Ahmed by 98,441 votes in Ferozepur Jhirka.
The elections featured other compelling results, such as Aditya Surjewala of the Congress who defeated BJP's Leela Ram in Kaithal by 8,124 votes. Meanwhile, Pawan Kharkhauda of BJP won against Congress' Jaiveer Singh in Kharkhauda with a margin of 5,635 votes.
BJP's Ram Kumar Gautam edged out Congress' Subhash Ganguli in Safidon by 4,037 votes, and Congress' Ram Karan beat BJP's Subhash Chand in Shahbad by 6,441 votes. Another significant victory was Congress' Ashok Arora winning Thanesar, defeating outgoing minister Subhash Sudha by 3,243 votes. The state went to polls on October 5, with counting taking place on Tuesday.
