Political strategist-turned-activist Prashant Kishor stated on Tuesday that the BJP will face repercussions in Bihar for supporting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, whom he described as unfit both physically and mentally, similar to how the Congress suffered for aiding RJD president Lalu Prasad's "jungle raaj."

In an exclusive interview with PTI, Kishor emphasized that Bihar is primed for a change in the upcoming assembly elections. Ignoring questions about his new party's presence in a crowded political landscape, he expressed confidence that his party will secure a majority in the 243-member assembly, ending the dominance of the two main rival alliances.

Kishor's Jan Suraaj Abhiyaan is set to become a political party on October 2. While addressing his potential role in the elections, he said the party leadership will decide his candidacy. Hitting out at the BJP, Kishor accused the ruling party of prioritizing political benefits over Bihar's welfare by retaining Kumar, whom he described as being in the last phase of his political career and incapable of leading the state effectively.
