Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj and an election strategist-turned-politician, is set to launch a new political party on October 2. However, Kishor insists he has no intention of becoming the party's leader; instead, the leadership will be determined by those who have dedicated the past 2 to 2.5 years to the cause. Jan Suraaj aims to provide an alternative to the traditional political parties in Bihar, which have predominantly been RJD and BJP, for the past three decades.

Kishor highlighted the need for the electorate to move away from caste, religion, and dynastic politics. He stressed the importance of voting based on future prospects like education and jobs for their children. His mission is not just to form a party and win elections but to enact significant societal change, envisioning a Bihar that attracts job seekers from other states. Kishor has been actively engaging with village communities to raise awareness about this vision.

In a critique of Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Kishor accused Kumar of delegating critical decision-making to a few advisors, leading to what he described as a 'jungle raj' of bureaucrats. Kishor also expressed concerns over the current state and future of JD(U) party, questioning its sustainability without Nitish Kumar's leadership. Furthermore, Kishor commented on BJP's dependence on Nitish Kumar for maintaining power, despite the strained alliance.

On the national front, Kishor shared his views about Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, acknowledging his improved leadership within the Congress party. However, Kishor mentioned that Gandhi still has a long way to go before becoming a national leader, citing historical comparisons and current political standings.
