In a fiery press conference, Prashant Kishor, the political strategist-turned-activist, took aim at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging that the state government is being controlled by four retired bureaucrats. Kishor accused Kumar of losing touch with the public and being solely focused on retaining his position.

Addressing the media just days before launching his own political party, Jan Suraj, Kishor declared his commitment to dethrone Kumar in the 2025 Bihar assembly elections. Kishor outlined his strategy, emphasizing issues like liquor prohibition, land survey, and smart meters, which he believes will be the downfall of the current regime.

The activist promised to lift the state's liquor ban within an hour of taking power, citing the annual loss of Rs 20,000 crore due to illegal trade. He vowed to speak against this policy, regardless of potential backlash from women voters, insisting it is not in Bihar's best interest.
