Kejriwal Criticizes BJP Over Kangana Ranaut's Remarks on Farm Laws

AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal criticized BJP and its MP Kangana Ranaut for suggesting a return of the repealed farm laws. He was campaigning for Indu Sharma in Bhiwani for the October 5 Haryana assembly polls. Kejriwal also defended his record in providing public services and accused BJP of misleading the public.

AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the BJP over comments made by its MP Kangana Ranaut regarding the repealed farm laws, claiming the party intends to reintroduce them.

Addressing a rally in Bhiwani in support of AAP candidate Indu Sharma for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections, Kejriwal accused the Narendra Modi government of causing the deaths of 750 farmers during the massive protests two years ago, which led to the withdrawal of the farm laws.

Kejriwal lambasted the BJP, stating that its recent plans to reintroduce the laws, endorsed by Ranaut, demonstrate the party's disregard for farmers' interests. Meanwhile, Ranaut withdrew her statements after facing backlash from within the BJP, clarifying that her remarks were personal opinions and did not reflect the party's stance.
