Andhra Pradesh Congress chief Y S Sharmila on Wednesday called for the TDP-led government to release a white paper detailing the status of their 'Super Six' promises made in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
The 'Super Six' schemes include a monthly pension of Rs 1,500 for women aged 19 to 59, the creation of 20 lakh jobs for youth, Rs 3,000 monthly unemployment aid, and free bus travel for women.
During a 'thali bajao' protest at Dharna Chowk in Vijayawada, Sharmila accused the government of failing the public. She demanded to know when the 'Super Six' promises would be fulfilled and criticized Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's administration for leaving three lakh government posts vacant and not presenting a budget within 100 days of taking office. She also questioned the limited flood relief efforts, which benefited only four lakh people.
