In a significant political development, the Punjab government led by Bhagwant Mann is poised for a cabinet reshuffle on Monday. Sources suggest that four to five new MLAs, including Mohinder Bhagat and Ravjot Singh, may be inducted, while some current ministers like Chetan Singh Jouramajra could be dropped.

The reshuffle, if confirmed, will be the fourth in the 30-month tenure of the Aam Aadmi Party's administration in Punjab. It follows the recent release of AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal from Tihar Jail, where he had been held in connection with an excise policy case.

With the current cabinet strength at 15, including Chief Minister Mann, there is room for three more ministers to reach the maximum limit of 18. The swearing-in ceremony, if the reshuffle goes ahead, is likely to take place at the Raj Bhavan on Monday.
