Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a blistering attack on the Congress-National Conference alliance and the People's Democratic Party, accusing them of allowing Jammu and Kashmir to suffer from terrorism for 35 years.
Speaking at a public rally in Akhnoor, Shah highlighted the imposition of curfew and the significant loss of life under the rule of the Gandhi, Mufti, and Abdullah families. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for eradicating terrorism from the region and warned that these families' attempts to revive terrorism would fail.
Shah also criticized the National Conference's agenda supported by the Congress, questioning its stance on restoring Article 370 and holding talks with Pakistan. He accused the Congress of being anti-Dalit and supporting corruption, while pledging support for the Pahari, Gujjar, and Bakarwal communities. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming elections not just for Jammu and Kashmir but for the entire country.
