Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Choudhary on Saturday called upon the people of Jharkhand to overthrow the JMM-led coalition government, promising a more developed and prosperous state.

Speaking at a public rally in Giridih, part of the BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra', Choudhary accused the Hemant Soren government of failing to deliver on its 2019 assembly election promises.

'The Parivartan Yatra will persist until the JMM-led alliance is removed from power. The JMM, Congress, and RJD have engaged in corruption and misappropriated resources,' he declared. The statewide procession was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Sahibganj on Friday.

Choudhary urged voters to act wisely in the upcoming assembly polls, emphasizing the need for a BJP government to ensure Jharkhand's prosperity and development. He announced plans to construct a grand temple of Goddess Sita in Bihar's Sitamarhi, reminiscent of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The BJP plans to launch six 'Parivartan' processions ahead of this year's assembly elections to reach out to the public and 'expose the failures' of the current JMM-led administration. These marches will cover 5,400 km across 81 assembly segments in 24 districts, concluding on October 2.

Around 50 national and state-level BJP leaders, including chief ministers from several states, are expected to participate in these rallies.
