The Kerala Congress launched a protest march on Friday, pressing for Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's resignation following allegations from LDF MLA P V Anvar against top IPS officers.
Led by KPCC chief K Sudhakaran, Opposition leader V D Satheesan, and AICC's Deepa Dasmunsi, hundreds of Congress supporters rallied to the Secretariat, displaying party flags and voicing slogans against the ruling Left government.
Sudhakaran criticized the eight-year tenure of Vijayan's administration, citing a dismal law and order situation with numerous FIRs related to sexual assault. He also condemned the alleged police brutality against Youth Congress activists and denounced the lack of developmental activities in the state.
