LDF MLA P V Anvar, who created a political uproar in Kerala by leveling allegations against Chief Minister's political secretary and high-ranking IPS officers, met CPI(M) state secretary M V Govindan on Wednesday to present his complaint against the officials.

The legislator, formerly a businessman, met the party secretary at the CPI(M) headquarters and handed over a detailed complaint.

This meeting follows Anvar's written complaint to CM Vijayan, accusing Sasi, ADGP (Law and Order) M R Ajith Kumar, and others of severe misconduct, drawing sharp reactions from the opposition.

Speaking to reporters, Anvar stated that his complaint reflects the sentiments of numerous hard-working Left party members.

'Like the CM, the party secretary sought details about the issue. I provided an explanation, and further actions will be determined by the party and the government,' he said.

Anvar dismissed suggestions of surrendering to the party, emphasizing that his issues are public and societal concerns.

'I expressed the emotions of the people and party workers. It can't be disregarded,' he asserted.

Defending the government’s stance on not removing Ajith Kumar without a thorough investigation, Anvar noted, 'Procedures must be followed to avoid potential legal challenges from the officer.'

On Sunday, the Nilambur MLA had accused Sasi and Kumar of serious breaches, including phone tapping and criminal affiliations, putting the CPI(M)-led government in a difficult position.
