Amid the ongoing Tirupati Laddu controversy, a senior Telangana official announced on Saturday that the state government's Vijaya Dairy is prepared to supply pure and high-quality milk products to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

In a letter addressed to TTD Executive Officer J Shyamala Rao, Principal Secretary of the Telangana Animal Husbandry Department, Sabyasachi Ghosh, stated that Vijaya Dairy is renowned for providing quality products to consumers.

Ghosh conveyed that Vijaya Dairy is ready to fulfill TTD's requirements for premium ghee and other dairy products, emphasizing the firm's transparency concerning quality, purity, and pricing given its government affiliation.

The official urged the TTD executive to allow Vijaya Dairy to serve the temple and its devotees, according to the state government release.

The initiative follows allegations from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that animal fat had been used in the iconic Tirupati laddus during the tenure of the previous government. The claim has ignited a significant political controversy, with the YSRCP accusing Naidu of making 'heinous allegations' for political gain, while the TDP circulated a lab report to substantiate its claims.
