Reddy, serving as the BJP's election in-charge for the Union Territory, emphasized its significance to India, reflecting the vision of Syama Prasad Mookerjee. Mookerjee founded the Jana Sangh, the BJP's predecessor, with a mission to protect Jammu and Kashmir from dynastic rule and divisive politics.
Reddy stated that since Modi took office, peace and brotherhood have been restored. Tourist numbers have surged, with over two crore visitors last year, showcasing a shift from the period overshadowed by terrorism. The upcoming election, following the abrogation of Article 370, represents a new era for the people.
