Amit Shah Declares Article 370 'History,' Promotes BJP Manifesto in J&K

Union Home Minister Amit Shah highlighted a significant reduction in terror-related incidents and stone-pelting in Jammu and Kashmir over the last decade while declaring that Article 370 is now in the past and will not return.
During a press conference unveiling the BJP's manifesto for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, Shah questioned the Congress' alliance with the National Conference, urging voters to choose BJP for sustained good governance. Shah remarked that the past decade will be marked in golden letters in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
Shah also underscored that the sound of guns and bomb blasts, once common in Kashmir, has largely ceased in the last ten years and credited BJP policies for the region's newfound peace and prosperity. He also reassured the maintenance of reservations for Gujjars, Bakerwals, and Pahadis post-abrogation of Article 370.
