Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stepped out of Tihar Jail on Friday, following the Supreme Court's decision to grant him bail in the excise policy case currently being investigated by the CBI.

Hundreds of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers, along with senior party leaders such as Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, were eagerly waiting outside the prison to celebrate Kejriwal's release.

Despite the rain, Mann and Sisodia raised spirited slogans from atop a truck, proclaiming Kejriwal's freedom with chants like ''Jail ke taale toot gaye, Kejriwal choot gaye'' and ''Bhrastachaar ka ek hi kaal, Kejriwal, Kejriwal''. Kejriwal eventually left Tihar in a car, followed by his security convoy.
