Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and MLA KT Rama Rao took to social media platform X to voice his support for party workers following recent arrests. He saluted the BRS 'karyakartas' for their bravery in facing what he termed 'oppressive actions' by the Congress government. Rao emphasized the resilience and courage of BRS cadre in defending Telangana's pride and future.

The situation heated up when BRS leaders, including MLA Harish Rao, were taken into police custody during a protest against the attack on BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy's residence outside Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. The detained leaders were later moved to Keshampet Police Station, prompting a large gathering of BRS supporters. Tensions surged as supporters blocked a police vehicle carrying the detained leaders, resulting in a scuffle. According to BRS, the police used lathi charge to disperse the crowd.

Protests erupted earlier in the day at Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, escalating tensions further across the district. BRS leaders and supporters vowed to continue their protests until their detained leaders are released. Meanwhile, the police have ramped up security to prevent further clashes.

In a separate development, BJP leader NV Subhash criticized both BRS and Congress for their alleged political theatrics. Describing the standoff as 'high drama,' Subhash accused the rival parties of diverting attention from important issues and failing to fulfill their promises. He called for the resignation of MLAs who switch parties, urging new leadership for Telangana.
