Savitri Jindal Enters Haryana Assembly Race as Independent

Savitri Jindal, mother of BJP's Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal, filed her nomination as an Independent candidate for the Hisar seat in the Haryana Assembly elections. Formerly a Congress MLA, Savitri was listed as India's richest woman by Forbes in 2021. The elections are scheduled for October 5, with results on October 8.

Unfazed by the political challenge, Savitri pledged her commitment to the development of Hisar, a constituency that has a deep-rooted connection with the Jindal family. The elections will be held on October 5, and results are expected on October 8.
