Apni Party Backs Independent Candidate Taj Mohiuddin for Uri Assembly Segment
The Apni Party declared its support for former Jammu and Kashmir minister Taj Mohiuddin who is running as an Independent Candidate from the Uri assembly segment in Baramulla district. Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari emphasized the importance of public interest and stated there were no personal motives behind this decision.

The Apni Party on Monday announced its endorsement of Taj Mohiuddin, a former minister of Jammu and Kashmir, who is contesting as an Independent candidate from the Uri assembly segment in Baramulla district.
Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari emphasized that the decision was made with the best interests of the Uri Assembly segment's inhabitants in mind. ''The Apni Party has decided to back Mohiuddin. Our support is wholehearted and without any personal agendas,'' said Bukhari.
Bukhari described Mohiuddin as a prominent leader and expressed optimism about his election to the assembly. He stressed that the Apni Party prioritizes public interest and will support like-minded independent candidates whenever deemed appropriate. The PDP has withdrawn its support for Mohiuddin, opting to field its own candidate in the Uri constituency.
