BJP Hails Modi Government's Achievements in J&K: Peace, Development, and Zero-Tolerance on Terrorism

The BJP on Wednesday highlighted the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government in Jammu and Kashmir, noting a significant reduction in terrorism and separatist activities. According to the party, the government's measures have led to substantial development in the region.
"The Modi government's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism has brought peace, further solidified by the historic abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019," stated J&K BJP spokesperson Lt Gen Rakesh Sharma (retd).
Sharma also pointed to former home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde's recent remarks about his fear of visiting Kashmir in 2013, emphasizing the improved security situation with a 70% decline in terrorism. The BJP's manifesto promises to completely eradicate terrorism and provide numerous welfare measures for security personnel.
