Singh addressed reporters, highlighting that the past three to four months have seen relative peace in the state, fueling his optimism for restored normalcy by the coming year. He expressed regret over the past turmoil and hoped for a new beginning rooted in harmony.
The Chief Minister shared data indicating a decline in firing incidents since the conflict began in May 2023. Significant efforts have been made to recover looted weapons and seize explosives, with over 3,000 weapons recovered and 625 arrests made. Despite these challenges, Singh remains hopeful for a more peaceful future.
