Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's recent comments on reservation have ignited a political firestorm. Speaking to students at Georgetown University, Gandhi suggested that the Congress might scrap reservations if India becomes a fair place.

Reacting sharply, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad accused Gandhi of harboring a long-standing prejudice against reservations. Prasad claimed that Gandhi's remarks reveal an anti-reservation stance, which he alleges is also shared by past Congress leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi.

Highlighting the BJP's achievements, Prasad contrasted Gandhi's comments with the party's track record of appointing leaders from SC, ST, and OBC communities to prominent positions. He warned that any attempt by Congress to tamper with reservation provisions would face vehement opposition from the BJP.
