BJP Lauds Security Achievements Under Modi Amid Opposition Jibes
BJP praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership for enhancing India's security, citing Congress leaders' recent activities in Kashmir. The remarks came in the wake of former home minister Sushil Shinde's admission of past fears visiting the region. BJP asserted that Article 370's abrogation has significantly improved Kashmir's stability.

In a robust defense of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the BJP stated on Tuesday that India's security has dramatically strengthened, allowing even opposition leaders to confidently visit and enjoy Kashmir.
This assertion followed former home minister Sushil Shinde's confession at his memoir launch that he was fearful of visiting Kashmir's Lal Chowk during his term.
Highlighting this contrast, senior BJP leader Piyush Goyal remarked on X that, 'During the Congress rule, even the Home Minister was afraid of Kashmir.' He emphasized that current security under Modi has improved so much that opposition figures now freely play with snow in the region.
