In a move underscoring deepening military ties, China's Defence Ministry on Monday announced upcoming joint naval and air drills with Russia, set to commence this month. Dubbed "Northern United-2024," these exercises will take place in the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk.
The drills aim to bolster strategic cooperation and enhance the ability to jointly address security threats. The collaboration includes the fifth joint cruise in the Pacific and participation in Russia's "Great Ocean-24" exercise, reflecting the strong partnership between the two nations.
