Stepping up pressure on Congress for an alliance in the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls, AAP's state unit chief Sushil Gupta announced Monday that his party will disclose candidates for all 90 seats if no deal is finalized by the evening.
The deadline to file nominations is September 12, with polling scheduled for October 5. Negotiations between the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have stalled over seat allocation, with AAP demanding 10 seats and Congress offering five, AAP sources said.
Gupta stated that every AAP worker in Haryana is prepared to contest all the seats independently. Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh confirmed that candidate finalization is complete and awaiting approval from Kejriwal. Talks are progressing positively, said AAP MP Raghav Chadha, but an alliance remains unresolved. Gupta asserted AAP's capability to defeat the BJP government in Haryana.
