Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Saturday accused the RSS and BJP of emulating British divide-and-rule tactics to create unrest between Hindus and Muslims in India.
Speaking at the Communist Party of India (Marxist) office, Singh was joined by leaders from various opposition parties involved in a fact-finding mission to Chhatarpur following the August 21 violence.
Singh highlighted instances of minority persecution, including the demolition of a Muslim man's house in Barwani. He criticized the BJP for not addressing his petition on communal harmony and lauded the Supreme Court's stance on 'bulldozer justice', announcing his intention to intervene legally.
