Shortly after appealing a ruling that held him liable for sexual assault, Donald Trump spoke to television cameras, raising past allegations of sexual misconduct. His confrontational rhetoric could lead to more legal woes.

Four days before a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris and with early voting starting in some areas, Trump remains prominent while Harris avoids media. In his speech, Trump did not address campaign issues, focusing instead on legal battles, particularly the case with E. Jean Carroll. He exited without taking questions.

A jury awarded Carroll significant damages in her sexual abuse claim against Trump. Despite this, Trump continues to deny her allegations. Carroll's lawyer has warned of potential further legal actions if Trump persists in his statements. Trump has also been convicted of other offenses, including 34 felonies related to hush money payments, and faces multiple ongoing legal investigations.
