New Rajya Sabha Members Take Oath Post Bypolls
Union Minister Ravneet Singh, Bar Council of India chairman Manan Kumar Mishra, and several others, including BJP's Mamata Mohanta and NCP's Nitin Patil, were administered their oaths as Rajya Sabha members by Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar. The bypolls filled 12 seats that became vacant after members were elected to the Lok Sabha.

Union Minister Ravneet Singh and Bar Council of India chairman Manan Kumar Mishra were sworn in as Rajya Sabha members on Thursday. The ceremony was administered by Rajya Sabha chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Among the newly sworn-in members were Mamata Mohanta from the BJP, former Union minister Upendra Kushwaha of NDA ally Rashtriya Lok Morcha, and NCP's Nitin Laxmanrao Jadhav Patil.
These members were elected in the recent bypolls to fill 12 Rajya Sabha seats that fell vacant due to the election of members to the Lok Sabha.
