Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has called on the people of Maharashtra to vote for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the forthcoming assembly elections. During a public meeting, Kharge pointed out that the real Shiv Sena and NCP are aligned with the MVA alliance.
He also criticized the BJP for various governance failures, highlighting incidents such as the collapse of a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and a newly inaugurated bridge. Kharge accused Prime Minister Modi of prioritizing electoral gains over substantive governance.
The Congress leader emphasized the importance of opposing the BJP to safeguard the Constitution, alleging that the current government misuses agencies to suppress opposition voices. Kharge also praised the late Patangrao Kadam's contributions to education and called for unity among progressive forces.
