Edmundo Gonzalez, a key figure in Venezuela's opposition, faces a warrant for his arrest after allegedly ignoring three summons. His lawyer, Jose Vicente Haro, reveals that procedural obstacles have hindered their efforts to submit a defense writ.
Gonzalez's charges, including usurpation of functions and falsification of public documents, stem from a contested July election in which the opposition posted vote tallies online.
