The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections on Monday, featuring party unit chief Ravinder Raina from the Nowshera constituency. Other notable candidates include Arif Raja for Eidgah, Er. Aijaz Hussain for Lal Chowk, and Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir for Khansahib.
On August 27, the BJP released its third list, naming 29 candidates for the second and third phases of the elections. Key candidates on this list were Murtaza Khan for Mendhar, Sunil Bhardwaj for Ramnagar (SC), and Pawan Gupta for Udhampur West.
Earlier, the party issued its first two lists of 16 candidates on August 26. The election, which features 90 assembly constituencies, will take place in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, with vote counting on October 8. This will be the first election in Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370.
