Pakistan reaffirmed on Sunday that the Kashmir dispute is an internationally recognized issue requiring resolution in line with UN Security Council resolutions. This statement followed comments made by India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who asserted that the era of uninterrupted dialogue with Pakistan is over and highlighted the finality of Article 370.

On the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stressed that the dispute must be settled according to the UN resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people. Baloch pointed out that true peace and stability in South Asia hinge on resolving this conflict.

Baloch rejected any unilateral settlements and affirmed Pakistan's commitment to diplomacy and dialogue while cautioning against hostile actions. Meanwhile, India maintains that Jammu and Kashmir, including Ladakh, remains an integral part of the country, emphasizing the need for an environment free of terror for normal neighborly relations.
