The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of kidnapping its councillor, Ram Chander, a claim swiftly denied by the BJP.
After his safe return, Chander, who recently switched from BJP back to AAP, alleged that he was taken to the BJP headquarters and threatened with false charges by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
In response, the BJP dismissed these allegations as sensationalist and unfounded, maintaining that Chander was never in their custody.
