Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Saturday stated that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has effectively isolated Pakistan globally, citing the country's diminishing support within the international community due to its role in fostering terrorism.

While Pakistan grapples with diplomatic isolation, Reddy noted that India's vision for Jammu and Kashmir is progressing towards peace and development. Speaking at a rally for BJP candidate Arvind Gupta, he condemned the Congress for backing the National Conference's agenda, which he claimed aims to drag the region back into violence and unrest.

Reddy emphasized that the current state assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the first since the abrogation of Article 370, represent more than a political contest. He described them as a movement to restore dignity and secure the rights of all citizens in the union territory.
