Delhi BJP Seeks Dismissal of AAP Government Amid Constitutional Crisis

A delegation of Delhi BJP MLAs met President Droupadi Murmu seeking the dismissal of the AAP government amid a ‘constitutional crisis’ following Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's imprisonment. The AAP accused BJP of ignoring the Constitution and attempting to disrupt governance to gain power in Delhi.

On Friday, a delegation of Delhi BJP MLAs met President Droupadi Murmu to request the dismissal of the AAP government due to a 'constitutional crisis' arising from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's imprisonment.

Accusing the BJP of disrespecting the Constitution, AAP claimed the BJP is resorting to desperate measures to disrupt the governance and seize power in Delhi.

Led by Leader of the Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta, the BJP delegation cited serious constitutional violations and governance failures in a memorandum to the president, urging immediate intervention.
