Pakistan on Thursday announced that it has no plans to hold talks with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), urging Afghanistan's Taliban government to take decisive action against these terror groups.

Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that multiple international reports, including those from the United Nations, have confirmed the presence of TTP in Afghanistan. "We expect the Afghan authorities to act robustly against these terror groups to prevent activities that threaten Pakistan's security," Baloch said during a weekly press briefing. She emphasized that Islamabad has repeatedly expressed concerns about the use of Afghan territory for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

The spokesperson condemned recent terrorist activities in Balochistan and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to providing full security to all Chinese nationals and projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). She noted that the CPEC has positively contributed to Pakistan's national development and enjoys widespread support across the country.
