Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called for national unity during an event in Agra on Monday, citing the recent turmoil in Bangladesh as a warning.

Addressing the crowd, Adityanath stressed that mistakes made in Bangladesh should not be repeated in India. He emphasized, 'If divided, we will be cut up.'

Bangladesh has seen massive anti-government protests leading to the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, with continued violence including attacks on the Hindu minority community.

Adityanath shared a Hindi clip of his speech, urging Indians to stay united for collective security and prosperity. 'There can be nothing bigger than the nation,' he stated.

He also inaugurated a statue of Durga Das Rathore, a 17th-century Rajput noble known for resisting Mughal annexation attempts.
